ഒരു നിയമസഭാതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെക്കൂടി കേരളം അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുകയാണ്. മുൻ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു വ്യത്യസ്തവും നിർണ്ണായകവുമായ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലാണ് ഈ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നടക്കുന്നത്.കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ ബിജെപി സർക്കാരിൽനിന്നും രാജ്യം വളരെയേറെ വിഷമതകൾ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നു. ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങൾക്കും ദളിതുകൾക്കും ദുർബ്ബല ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങൾക്കും ജീവിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത സാമൂഹിക രാഷ്രീയ അരക്ഷിതാവസ്ഥ ഇവിടെ നിരന്തരം രൂപപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. തൊഴിലാളികൾ സമരം ചെയ്തു നേടിയെടുത്ത ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങൾ പുതിയ നിയമങ്ങളിലൂടെ കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ കവർന്നെടുക്കുന്നു .
നാടിന് അന്നം നൽകുന്ന കർഷകർ ഇന്ന് ധീരോദാത്തമായ ഒരു സമരമുഖത്താണ്. വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും യുവാക്കളും തൊഴിലാളികളും ബുദ്ധിജീവികളും കലാകാരന്മാരും എഴുത്തുകാരും കവികളും സാമൂഹ്യപ്രവർത്തകരും ദേശസ്നേഹികളും ഈ സമരത്തെ പിന്തുണച്ചുകൊണ്ട് രാജ്യത്താകമാനം അണിനിരക്കുന്നു. അതിജീവനത്തിന്നും നീതിക്കും വേണ്ടി നടത്തുന്ന ഈ സമരത്തെ ദേശവിരുദ്ധ ഗൂഢാലോചനയായും തീവ്രവാദബന്ധം ആരോപിച്ചും അടിച്ചമർത്താനുള്ള നീക്കങ്ങൾ സർക്കാർ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ഉണ്ടാവുന്നു.അതെ സമയം ലോകശ്രദ്ധ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റിയ ഈ സമരം ഇന്ത്യൻ കര്ഷകപ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ചരിത്രപരമായ ഒരു സംഭവമായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈയൊരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണ് കേരളമുൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള നാലു സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും കേന്ദ്ര ഭരണപ്രദേശമായ പുതുച്ചേരിയിലും നിയമസഭകളിലേക്കുള്ള തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകൾ നടക്കുന്നത്.
കേരളത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം, ജനകീയ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളേക്കാളുപരി മറ്റു ചില ആശയ രാഷ്ട്രീയപ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ ആണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വേദിയിൽ ഉയർന്നുവരുന്നത്. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഏറെ നിർണ്ണായകവും വ്യത്യസ്തവുമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയാന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലാണ് ഈ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നടക്കുന്നതെന്ന് നേരത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നത് .ശബരിമലസ്ത്രീപ്രവേശം മുതൽ വൈരുദ്ധ്യാധിഷ്ഠിത ഭൗതികവാദം വരെ ഇവിടെ ഉയർന്നുവരുന്നു. ഇടതുപക്ഷ ജനാധിപത്യ മുന്നണിയും ഐക്യജനാധിപത്യ മുന്നണിയും ബിജെപി സഖ്യവും ഇവിടെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെ നേരിടുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഈ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ യഥാർത്ഥ പോരാട്ടം നടക്കുന്നത് ഇടതുപക്ഷ ജനാധിപത്യ മതേതര ശക്തികളും മത വർഗ്ഗീയ ഫാസിസ്റ്റ് ശക്തികളും തമ്മിൽ ആണ്. കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് വിരുദ്ധ ഇന്ത്യ അഥവാ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് വിരുദ്ധ കേരളം എന്നതാണ് ബിജെപിയുടെ പ്രഖ്യാപിത ലക്‌ഷ്യം. ത്രിപുരയിലും പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിലും ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി പല കുടിലതന്ത്രങ്ങളും ആവിഷ്‌കരിച്ചു നടപ്പിലാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലും ഇതിനുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള മുന്നൊരുക്കങ്ങളും രാഷ്ട്രീയ കരുനീക്കങ്ങളും നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
മേൽപ്പറഞ്ഞ സവിശേഷമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാർക്കും ഇടതു മതേതര ജനാധിപത്യ ദേശസ്നേഹ ശക്തികൾക്കും നിർണ്ണായകമായ പങ്കു വഹിക്കാനുണ്ട് . അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് സിപിഐ (എംഎൽ ) ലിബറേഷൻ ' ബിജെപി വിമുക്ത കേരളം ' എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യം മുന്നോട്ടു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് .ആയതിനാൽ , ഈ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഇടതുപക്ഷ ജനാധിപത്യ മുന്നണി സ്ഥാനാർഥികൾക്ക് വോട്ടു ചെയ്യുക എന്ന നിലപാട് ആണ് പാർട്ടി അംഗീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതോടൊപ്പം, ഇടതുപക്ഷ ജനാധിപത്യ മുന്നണി സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികളെ വോട്ടുചെയ്തു വിജയിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ കേരളത്തിലെ മുഴുവൻ വോട്ടർമാരോടും അഭ്യർഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

- CPI(ML) Liberation-
As we approach another Assembly Elections ,we know that the political climate in which elections 2021 are being conducted is much different than that of earlier occasions and also unprecedented in many aspects. The BJP government at the center has landed the country in big trouble. Lives of minorities, dalits and all marginalised sections are becoming more and more perilous in a climate of overall social and political insecurity. Working class people's hard fought rights are being taken away thanks to enactment of a series of anti- labour legislations. Farmers who feed the entire country have now been dragged to a heroic battle front, while students, youth,social activists, artists,writers, members of intelligentsia , poets and patriotic forces all over the country have arrayed themselves in solidarity with the farmers' struggle. The central government has responded to this country wide people's struggle with various methods of suppressing it through coercion, slapping of sedition cases on protestors, branding them as terrorists etc etc. Solidarity for farmer's struggle has grown far and wide ,and has even attracted international attention as a historic episode in the Indian farmer's movement. It is in the above context that Kerala with few other states go to the assembly polls. As far as Kerala is concerned, rather than questions related to ordinary issues of lives of people, more questions related to the ideas and political beliefs of people are being raised and taken to the electoral arena, which is something unprecedented. It is in this sense that the political climate in which the elections are taking place is unprecedented and characteristically much different from that of earlier elections, as already has been mentioned. The issues coming up here range from women's entry to Sabarimala to questions related to dialectical materialism. LDF, UDF and BJP- led NDA are the three major political alliances in the fray. However, the real contest is going to take place between the Left,democratic and secular forces of the state on the one side, and religious-communal bigots and fascist forces on the other. We should understand that the BJP is aiming ultimately for a Communist free Kerala and India. And we also know that the BJP strategy has succeeded so far in Tripura and to some extent in West Bengal. Kerala has become their next targeted state for the implementation of such a sinister strategy, and the game has indeed started here. It is precisely against such a background that Communists, Leftists , democratic and secular forces feel the need to intervene in a decisive manner. These forces should unitedly carry out their progressive tasks as effectively as possible. Hence, CPI(ML)Liberation has put forward the slogan BJP- vimukta Keralam with a view to convincing the voters of Kerala the dire need of voting out fascist BJP decisively to the extent they are no more able make inroads to their sinister methods of communal and fascist machinations in Kerala.Therefore, in the forthcoming Assembly elections, CPI(ML) Liberation has decided to support the Left Democratic Front and hence, the party appeals to the voters of Kerala to cast their votes in favour of LDF candidates
